Concealed Carry Level II Training Course: Saturday, December 15, 2012

Saturday, December 15, 2012 by CGC Web Team

Ever wanted the knowledge and training to get you to the next level of expertise with your concealed weapon?  Our Concealed Carry Level II training course will teach you the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to assume various shooting positions for those who are concerned in carrying a concealed handgun.  During the 4 hours course, we will review current laws regarding firearms and allow you to become proficient in drawing from holsters by using your holster and firearm (with a Clear Barrel Indicator provided by the instructor).  In this course you will learn proper identification and response to a weapon malfunction and how to keep your firearm running at all times. At the end of the training you will be able to confirm your acquired skills on the shooting range.  Our hands on training process will teach you to become proficient at drawing from a holster, tactical and emergency reloads, clearing malfunctions, shooting behind cover and other scenario specific drills.

The course is this Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 6:00pm – 10:00pm and taught by John Abramson.

I was happy that the guys at the range were SO helpful and patient. This was my first time and I was nervous, but loved it. My only criticism is to limit class size it was overwhelming and let people know to bring glasses and $$.

From OutDoor Life – The Source for Hunting and Fishing Adventures

I found this to be a good article and I wanted to share it with all of you.

How do you define the best shotgun or even a great shotgun? We round up the 10 best shotguns ever made in America.

The fluid movement of a favorite shotgun to a winged or furry target; the versatility to hunt ducks and geese in the morning and quail in the afternoon, or even drop a buck with a slug; this is what makes a shotgun a beloved addition to our outdoor life.

I’m sure I am in trouble with someone because their pet shotgun is not on the list, but my choices are those that broke new ground or that have stood the test of time. Their elegant design and quality craftsmanship set the standard by which we judge modern smoothbores and helped us round out our field. Check out my list of the 10 best shotguns ever made in America. READ MORE >>
